Psyonix shares details on Rocket League's Item Shop

Rocket League developer Psyonix has slowly been detailing the new Rocket League Items features coming into their game, like the Blueprints system replacing crates, and now they've lifted the lid on the Item Shop, providing a closer look at how this will work.

This is coming in December's update, and the Showroom is out to make way for the Item Shop. This can be accessed from the main menu, showing Featured items on a 48-hour timer and Daily items on a 24-hour timer. When these expire, new items come in, and these range from painted cards to banners, explosions, and more.

Each item is worth a certain amount of Credits, and you can see if the item is Painted, Certified, or Special Edition, so all the details are shared upfront.

Keys that are still in your inventory when the update drops will be concerted into 100 Credits each, or you can buy packs of Credits, with the following value:

500 Credits - $4.99 USD or region equivalent.

1100 Credits - $9.99 USD or regional equivalent.

3000 Credits - $24.99 USD or regional equivalent.

6500 Credits - $49.99 USD or regional equivalent.

Credits can be unlocked in the Rocket Pass too, and Premium DLC RL Items packs won't be available for purchase with this change, although the items within may still come up for sale in the Item Shop. The Esports Shop, however, is still its own thing, using Esports Tokens.

Are you glad to see an Item Shop in Rocket League?
